Skill Abhiyan

SKILL ABHIYAN is the next step in Roshni Abhyan. After upskilling women, TAHOOR Foundation will network with various organizations and businesses where these women can be employed. Our primary focus on upskilling will be on reviving traditional handicrafts such as local and authentic bhagalpuri chadar, Bhojpuri clothes, clay utensils, kites, mats, bamboo works, char pai, ropes, etc. We will also focus on vocational training such as designing clothes and accessories, tailoring, etc.

We will set up our branches and store rooms in every Panchayat, make available every raw material for them to use as well as set up transport for the finished products. The profits from these products will be shared between the women and the organizations and businesses that invest in this program.
